You should use both open and closed questions because there are benefits to using those. First a closed question is a quick answer also you don't really have to think about the question you should be able to answer if really quickly this is a good question to use because you want a simple little answer . Also an open question is a long answer that you need to explain it's a question you need to think about and this is a benefit because the person you are answering to gets a thoughtful answer.

One reason is if you use a minus sign it will help you be more specific for example if you search sam adams-singer-major-football player it will not show any of those such as football player,singer,major.
